5 rooftops to go to in Barcelona
One of my favorite activities in Barcelona ? Testing rooftop bars to find the nicest views ! After 1 year here, I have done some, and have been advised to do a lot others. I share with you my 5 favorite rooftop bars of Barcelona to spend a nice moment with a view… At day AND night !
Ohla Hôtel
You can’t miss the Ohla Hotel on Via Laietana, as its facade is decorated with dozen of “eyes” ! Its rooftop bar has different levels which allows a very wide view on the Gothic and Born and of course the rest of the city. There is also a swimming pool if you want to refresh a bit ! Count 7€ for a glass of wine and around 20€ a salad or ponchos plate.
Barcelo Raval

On the top of the black tower of the Ramblas of Raval is a rooftop bar I really enjoyed… its specificity ? The rooftop bar of Barcelo Raval is a 360° bar ! You can then enjoy the view of Barcelone just by turning around the bar ! I went there by night and I really liked, so I assume it must be also very pleasant by day to see all Barcelona ! About 14€ the cocktail.
Ayre Hotel Rosellon

How I am dying to try this one ! The rooftop bar from the Ayre Hotel Rosellon has a direct and impressive view on the Sagrada Familia. I really love this building by Gaudi, so I would dream to see it from a new and higher angle… and would love to sip a cocktail meanwhile !

The Almanac Hotel just reopened after works on Gran Via de les Sorts, between Urquinaona and Passeig de Gracia. The rooftop bar Azimuth has, like others, a swimming pool, many lounge areas and of course a nice panorama on the whole city of Barcelona. I really appreciated the place for its chill mood, the good and funny named cocktails (from 10€) ; but liked it less for its high windows that would hide a bit the view.

I haven’t tried yet the rooftop bar from Gran Hotel Central, but it just seems SO impressive ! I love the fact that the pool stops where the view begins… it gives a very nice perspective and viewpoint on the city. And with so many long chairs, you can enjoy it very well !
